Audrey, better known as Dazzlingdrew, is a famous Parisian YouTuber and influencer, of Malagasy origin. She now has more than 266,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel and more than 133,000 followers on Instagram. Back in Madagascar, Audrey gave us an interview during her stay at the Louvre Hotel & Spa.

Tell us a little bit about yourself?

Hello, I'm Audrey, 24. I've been making videos on the internet for over 7 years and I talk about fashion, travel and beauty. I share my advice and adventures with the community on social networks, mainly on YouTube and Instagram.

How did your social networks carreer begin?

I started making videos in high school, by chance, by looking for hair tutos on YouTube. And then I discovered the world of YouTubers. By watching videos, I started to get into it. I shared my little videos and tips on YouTube.

Where do you get your inspiration?

All over, in the streets, when I travel, on the networks... I'm a lot of people on YouTube and Instagram.

What would you like to do later?

I'd like to continue living off my passion. The most important thing is to do something that I love and that makes me happy and fulfilled.

How did you feel about going back to the country?

A lot of emotions! Instant laughter :) When you are in France as soon as you see a Malagasy you always say "Hello". So I wanted to say hello to everyone.

It's good to be surrounded by Malagasy people, to speak a bit of Malagasy, to hear the language. Frankly, I'd really missed it.

I knew it was going to be a great trip, but I didn't think we were going to enjoy it so much. We discovered a lot of corners of Madagascar, a lot of richness, a lot of beautiful landscapes and a lot of beautiful things that we can show off.

On this trip, what impressed you the most?

The goodness and kindness of the people. Everyone was smiling and kind to us. It warmed our hearts and made us feel good.

You discovered the city of Manakara, Fianarantsoa, Ranofamana, Nosy Be and Antananarivo. What place have you appreciate the most?

Nosy Be, it's heavenly. You relax, you eat very well and you have many beautiful things to discover. Next time, I would like to see the southwest of the island on the side of Anakao, Tulear and Morondava.

A few words about the Louvre Hotel & Spa?

A beautiful discovery! A beautiful setting! You can walk around without having a car, by the way, our meet-up was right next door. We ate well, it's varied and it was good.

One final word?

Thank you for your welcome, for this discovery. We are very pleased to be able to stay at the Louvre Hotel & Spa. We'll be back with pleasure!
